 Mr B's valentines gift to me was this really cute and quirky book by Richard Till, featuring handpicked favourites from his impressive vintage tea towel collection. Richard's book celebrates the time "when cities, provincial centres, women's organisations and food producers throughout the country all designed their own tea towels to brighten up kitchens everywhere".

It's an entertaining read for anyone interested in kiwi nostalgia!

My days are now quiet and uneventful. Our youngest has started school and is responding well to her new routine. There's plenty I could occupy myself with, however I find myself counting down the hours until it's time to do the school pickup run.
